I would have assumed that limited edition watches were relegated solely to masterful, diamond-encrusted Swiss time vessels. However, the Suunto Extreme Limited Edition offers a touch of exclusivity to its high-performance outdoor sports collection. Available in a batch of just 3000, the Core Extreme features the typical ABCs (altimeter, barometer and compass) along with other features like depth meter and sunrise/sunset times. It's available in a variety of schemes from urban assault to nomadic outdoorsman, and will be sold at select retailers starting this month.

I had a Suunto during my African adventures. I'm not sure of the model anymore, but it was tough. That watch went through the wringer and never failed me. I don't have one right now, but until something better comes along I'll always have props for Suunto.
