Not all that long ago, we featured a post on Swiss Army shoes made by Wenger. Not to be outdone, the other Swiss Army manufacturer Victorinox has recently come out with its own form of diversification: a cologne called Swiss Unlimited. Ever wonder what those feather-hatted Swiss Alpine Guides smell like? Apparently, "Swiss essence with notes of wooded silver fur, alpine herbs and absinthe". Since that probably isn't rendering much of a tingle in the ol' olfactories, you could pick up a bottle for around $55. Remember the days when respected gear manufacturers stuck to making respectable gear? I was hoping that the bottle would at least serve a second, more practical function for backpacking or camping, but all we got was the ubiquitous carabiner. Oh well, at least you'll smell a bit better on those multi-day trips. via Gizmodo
