Video: Skiing Rock Fields

Usually when I think of skiing rocks, it's more of an exxaggeration involving rocks sticking out of thin, early/late-season cover. But in the video below, you can witness pro skier Sylvain Saudan a.k.a. "Le Skieur de l'Impossible" skiing down pure rock fields and dirt hills in what appears to be the middle of summer. According to Saudan, the training helps him prepare for skiing the Himalayas where you have to ski what the mountain offers.

It's not nearly as epic as skiing volcanoes, but it's difficult not to watch straight through to the end. Plus, it's set to some pretty jazzy big-band music.
