Yesterday was the Outdoor Retailer All Mountain Demo at Snowbasin Resort in Utah. The event is a pre-show for the Outdoor Retailer Winter Market, the outdoor industry's expo. At the demo, a small percentage of OR displayers present their goods and let you try them out on the snow.
There was about a foot of fresh snow and I ditched most of the Demo to ride some fresh lines, so I don't have too much to report. Luckily, however, a guy I rode the lift up was a little more diligent and was demoing out a pretty cool jacket from Loki.
Loki's line of jackets and hoodies feature built-in mitts and neck gaiters that make adjusting to the weather a snap. The Loki Mitts flip open so that you can get your hands out with ease--great for ski lifts where you won't have to worry about dropping a glove. The FaceShield neck gaiter pulls out of the hood, allowing a little protection should the wind pick up speed.
It wasn't that cold of a day yesterday, but the guy I was talking to said the mitts were super-warm. The jackets look like pretty nice all-in-one solutions.
Loki's men's jackets range from $189 to $375. Find more information at their website.
I'll be covering more from OR (where there won't be a temptation of velvety pow) over the next few days.

Sounds like a plan!
Yeah, I plan to. We'll have to meet up and grab some beers.
Are you going to the summer show? I'll be heading out there this year.
Don't feel too bad; I just got to see a fraction of the show this time around. The summer show is better anyway!
You suck! I wanted to go so bad this year! Have fun, dude.
