Next season promises to be a big year for teched-up goggles. Displayed at last week's CES show, the Summit Series goggles feature an integrated camera right between the eyes for both video and photos. The camera provides 5 megapixels for photography and 720 x 480 resolution at 30 frames per second for video. It also captures audio.
The goggles include 16 MB of built-in memory, which can be expanded to 16 GB via a microSD/SDHC card slot. The lithium ion batteries will support about 2,200 photos or two hours of video per charge.
The goggles should be available later this year for a price of $149. The camera isn't exactly "top of the line" for action cams and I don't expect the goggles are either, but for that price they don't need to be. Eliminate one extra piece of gear from your ski trip packing list. [via Engadget]
