Pressure Pak Adds Some Squirt to Your Hydration Pack

created at: 2009-10-13

I've never really had a problem with sipping water out of my Camelbak, but apparently for some it's an issue. At least that's what the motto "Never Suck Again" would have one believe. The Pressure Pak is an interesting product that pressurizes the water in your hydration bladder so that you can simply press down on the bite valve to get a spray. The Pressure Pak goes around your bladder and includes a hand pump so that you can add air. A backboard keeps it contoured to your back.

While it doesn't seem that necessary for drinking, the Pressure Pak does provide a quick spray for cleaning your hands or gear. At first read, I was worried about a situation where the Pressure Pak would blow up if one accidentally fell on it, but the picture of a rugged, 4WD tire resting on top of one has allayed my concerns. It's available for $30 in 50, 70 and 100-ounce varieties. [ via Gear Caster]
