Teardrop trailers are so cute, if they had cheeks I’d squeeze ‘em! And thanks to the Woodworker’s Workshop, we can now all build our own. Among their DIY trailer links, there's three that'll take you to various vintage building plans, which include pull-type camping trailers as well as car top campers.

Campergirl, free is nice, althought most of these plan are over 50 years old. There are better way to build available today but you'll have to pay a few bucks to get those plans.
Also don't forget the latest addition in DIY camp trailers, Tent Topped Camping Trailers. Instead of hardsides, they use instant open folded tent units for sleeping quarters. The advantage is, they weigh half what a Teardrop does. Compact Camping Concepts has a detailed construction manual for their Explorer Box.
