Make your own shapeable ice pack by mixing 1 part rubbing alcohol with 3 parts water in a plastic freezer zippy bag and then toss the bag into the freezer. (The alcohol will prevent the water from freezing completely.) The next time you need to RICE something, simply take out your slushy bag and ice away. And OF COURSE label the bag so everyone know what’s in it!

Using an ice pack (homemade or not) is a great sprained ankle treatment Back in high school I sprained my ankle several times in the course of just a month and I found that wearing an ankle brace and using ice packs helped my recovery a lot. Thanks for sharing how to make one!
You are very welcome. I'm glad you found it! Best wishes.
I'm having radiation treatments and can't get the ice packs to fit around all the areas that are feeling burnt. Was scratching my head on how and what to use for a form to keep the water in the right proportions. I'll let my doctor know so she can give out to others. I'm grateful you posted this, thank you.
