The Porsche Pocket Knife

The P’3711 Swiss Pocket Knife from Porsche is touted as ‘ergonomic’ with a ‘subtle sculptural’ handle that ‘turns working with a knife into a tactile pleasure’. Is it just me, or does that last bit sound kind of creepy? Expensive...yes, at $200 bucks a pop, but he handle IS coated in ruthenium, whatever the hell that is.

Hard yet brittle...well what the heck. I say for 200 bucks, it should be made out of something hard and NOT brittle!
Your post made me curious, so I went looking... ruhenium is described as a platinum-type metal that looks like platinum but is harder, rarer and more brittle than platinum.
