Killer Deal: $200 Million Ansel Adams Negatives Found at Yard Sale for $45

Ten years ago, Rick Norsigian was perusing a Fresno yard sale when some glass negatives of nature photos caught his eye and bought the Yosemite photos, talking the owner down to $45. It was a decent bargain, considering that the photos (which turned out to be taken by famed photographer Ansel Adams) are worth roughly $200 million, according to this article on NPR.org.

Let me say that again: $45 at a yard sale, worth $200 million. Kind of makes you want to drive by those yard sales a little slower now, doesn't it? So if you see something like the picture below, you might want to pick it up. Don't forget to haggle.

Seriously...that's a $199,999,955 profit right there. I love how he talked the original owner down to $45.
