Known for its lightweight outdoor performance gear, GoLite proves that its apparel is also at home in the concrete jungle with their Adventure Travel clothing line.
When looking for clothing that would be functional on a bike as well as in an office environment, I tried out GoLite's Parapoa Longsleeve Travel Shirt and Wicklow Shortsleeve Travel Polo. Designed for lightweight travel, I thought that their quick-drying action and flexibility would come in handy while bicycle commuting, and they did not let me down.

First off, they just plain look good. The Parapoa's "modern classic" styling drew compliments when I was walking around town, and as soon as I stepped out my door with the Wicklow, I had friends asking me where I got it.
On the bike, they hit all the right marks with their light weight (the Parapoa weighs 239 grams and the Wicklow 172 grams) and mobility. The shirts never made me feel restricted or overheated while riding and even when I worked up a sweat, they dried out within a few minutes. The shirts are also extremely wrinkle-resistant, so on especially hot days you can stuff them into your bag and put them on when you get to work without a crease. Throw in a few hidden zippered pockets for more on-the-go security, and you've got some bike-ready office wear.

The Parapoa goes for $70, and the Wicklow runs about $45. Check them out at www.GoLite.com.
