Cooped Up? Get Uncooped.

I was recently working on an article about snow camping, and whenever the topic of stoves came up, the conversation always turned to one stove-the MSR EGK-EX. For car camping and light backpacking, there are a lot of stoves that will work well, but if you're going out into the wild-I mean way out, it looks like the MSR EGK-EX is the one to take with you.

Easy to clean and maintain in the field, the EGK-EX is often referred to as a jet engine for the sound it makes as well as its power (it'll boil a liter of water in under 3 minutes). All very cool, but here's the thing that I love-it'll run on just about any liquid fuel-white gas, deisel, whatever. Very Indiana Jones. One of my gear-shop buddies said that it'll even burn on moonshine, but I haven't verified that yet.

So if anybody has any moonshine...
