Out of the two Swiss Army discoveries I've made this week, cologne and ultralight camping stove, I would have hoped for the former to be fake and the latter to be real. An ultralight camping stove-- that's something that the Swiss Army could actually use in a practical way. Unfortunately, the Swiss Army stove is merely a concept designed by Ryan Cavenagh, while the cologne is the real deal. Regardless, this concept stove appears to be a better direction for either Swiss Army manufacturer. A lightweight, aluminum stove that runs on denatured alcohol, the design looks only slightly larger and heavier than an aluminum can. Alcohol is filled in the sides of the stove and then the stove is lit in the middle, heating the alcohol until it vaporizes through the holes on top and fuels a cooking fire. The only thing Swiss Army about it, however, is wishful thinking on the designer's part. via Yanko
