Wide screen technology has been working so well in movies and television, Timex decided to try it out in a watch, or at least use a catchy buzz word for marketing purposes. The Timex Expedition WS4, to be released this spring, features all those requisite outdoor readings you love so much: altimeter, barometer, thermometer and compass, and the wide screen lets you view four separate stats clearly on your home screen. The watch also features a weather alert, chronograph and Timex's classic Indiglo backlighting. Retail will be very competitive at $199. This was one of the cooler watches that I saw at OR, and I don't usually like Timex watches.
