About Me

Funny, now that I think about it, I've been around wildlife and nature all my life. Born on Colorado, my parents were avid outdoorspeople, taking us camping and hiking and rafting through the rivers of Colorado and Utah. I lived in Vermont where we'd take yearly family camping trips somewhere new, canoeing and kayaking and hiking throughout the trip. Lived in Colombia, South America, where we'd go on almost weekly horseback rides in the mountains, through the mist and the cold, looking out at the city and the countryside from horseback and watch the fog roll over it. And now I'm in Vancouver, BC, where the mountains are bigger than ever, the ocean is close by, and you breathe nature when you walk out the door. Never realized how integral it was in my life until now.
